Abel De Pina Barros, 94, of Pawtucket, R.I passed away on March 29, 2025, in Pawtucket, RI. Born in Brava, Cape Verde to the late Henrique Manuel De Barros and Carlota De Pina, on July 23rd, 1930. He worked for many years at: Missao Endemias, Assuntos socias and at Conrad Textile and Unite Textile.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Goncalves Barros of Pawtucket, RI, children David Barros, Albertino Barros, Ana Maria Barros, Elisa Debarros Xavier, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Sunday, April 6, 2025 from 2pm-5pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave. Lincoln. Burial will be in Brava, Cape Verde.


Visitation will be held at: 115 Second St. Pawtucket, RI. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all attendies.
